A lemony twist on momma Dowdle’s famous recipe. I don’t know what it is about this speckled bread, but it’s addicting and good god does it make my house smell good.
Recipe: Lemon Poppy Seed Bread
Ingredients
- 1 box white cake mix
- 1 box instant lemon pudding
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 cup canola oil
- 3/4 cup sherry
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 2 tbs poppy seeds
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350.
- Mix all ingredients together and pour into two greased bread pans.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes.
